The simple driving rhythms and lyrical
texts of the songs of Druga Rika have quickly become popular, because
they stay in your memory and in your heart. With each new album, Druga
Rika has displayed professional development in the musical constituents
of their compositions by constantly improving.
Fruitful cooperation of the band and
Lavina Music began in 2003 with the release of the album “DVA” (Two).
“DVA” is a collection of different moods with sad, but beautiful
melodies prevailing. It has wonderful emotional lyrics and strong songs
that have made the album super successful.
The next album “Rekordy” (Records) was released by Lavina Music label in
2005 and justified its name becoming truly significant for the
musicians. They conquered Ukraine with new hits and beat all their
previous records of album sales and times the songs were played on radio
stations.
At the end of 2006, came a collection of
the best songs of Druga Rika, which also included a new composition “Dennich”,
which was the leading track of the disc. The song and video “Dennich”
gave a new breath to the band, which the fans had been waiting for.
Druga Rika has been and remains the most
popular Ukrainian synti-pop-rock band that creates original music.
