At 3 months old Jason Pierce began his
journey on the road. Under the direction of his parents he toured all of
Canada with acts such as Glass Tiger, Blue Rodeo, and many others. While
out with his parents production company Jason was mesmerized by the
intensity, primal rhythm, and feel of live drums.
After a few years of bagging, at age four his parents splurged and
bought him his first drum kit. Next followed years of noise as the young
musician developed his groove.
With the encouragement and aid of national
and internationally acclaimed drummers, Jason journeyed the well
traveled road of practice day in and day out to get where he is today.
When not touring or playing sessions Jason will most defiantly be found
wood shedding as he is never satisfied with his playing level.
Sure, he’s 20 years old but that’s 15
years of playing. Revered as a prodigy by some and dubbed Wonder kid by
others, Jason strives to be a player “with a pocket as deep as the
ocean”. Jason’s proudly endorses Yamaha Drums and Hardware, Ahead drum
sticks, Remo Drum Heads, Sabian Cymbals, Headfirst Bass Drum Heads and
Protection Racket Cases.
