Mike Chiplin
Forming in 1997, Mike Chiplin and
Lostprophets were a mainstay on their local scene before releasing their
debut CD, The Fake Sound of Progress, in 2000. Before they knew it, they
found themselves touring the world and racing up the charts.
“Start Something” is the latest chapter in the Lostprophets' self-penned
success story. "This is us, take it or leave it!" This album is
Lostprophets' call to arms, a rallying cry to kids everywhere - never
lie down, never give up.
And Epic It Is, Songs Like The Sonically
Crushing Album Opener "We Still Kill The Old Way" and "Last Train Home"
( top 10 hit ) , which opens with atmospheric verses before switching
gears into an anthemic sing-along. “Start Something” will always keep
you guessing. The album went straight into the UK top 5 and achieved a
gold disk with a matter of weeks.
