Ian Falgout
Born and raised south of New Orleans and
beginning a top session and touring career in Los Angeles, Ian’s
background has been a virtual “GUMBO” of influences.
Ian has appeared on MTV, VH1, ABC, KTLA
and worked with major labels such as Warner Bros., EMI, RCA, Reprise,
Lakeshore and City Canyons Records. Falgout has been featured numerous
times in Modern Drummer and Drum! Magazines and toured nationally and
internationally.
Ian has performed live and/or worked in
the studio with:
Windsor (MTV, Warped Tour), Devereaux (ABC's Teen Peoples Special, #1
MP3.com band), David Paich (Toto), Dave Fortman (Ugly Kid Joe, producer
of Evanescence, Mudvayne), Nikki Boyer (TLC's Perfect Proposal, TV Guide
Channel, Yahoo's Daytime In No Time), Gary Richrath (REO Speedwagon),
Joey Catchcart (Nelson), Christian Love (son of Mike Love of the Beach
Boys), Thomas Michael, Lynn Strait (Snot), Nik Frost (EMI Germany/Warner
Bros), Jack Ryland (Three Dog Knight), Bob Coloca (Pure Prairie League),
The Mud Flaps (appeared on On Air With Ryan Seacrest), Nick Greene
(Jimmy Page, The Firm, Blue Murder), The John Wilde Group, The Cadillac
Angels (also as rhythm section for Wanda Jackson), Tony Avalon (son of
Frankie Avalon), NEO, Jeff Peters (Beach Boys, Flogging Molly, Joan
Jett, etc), Jack Sonni (Dire Straits), Nick St. Nichols (Steppenwolf),
Stegasaurus (Reprise Records) and has also performed with members and ex
members of the Neville Bros, The Meters, The Drifters, Etta James Band,
Santana, Eurythmics and many more of today’s top players and producers.

Ian is endorsed with Taye drums,
Ahead Drumsticks, Flix Sticks and brushes, Evans Drumheads,
Stagg Cymbals, Stagg Guitars, HQ Percussion, Pure Sound snare
wires and Jaded and Hated Clothing.
As a producer, Ian produced
actress/tv personality Nikki Boyer's debut solo CD entitled
Nikki B. and served as musical director and drummer, Miss Marcy
and her Texas Sugardaddy’s latest release and is currently
producing and developing the band, Frequency, from Durango, Co.
Ian is in pre-production to produce and co-write Buzzy Gruen’s
solo effort.
Ian has recently been performing
with an all-star band which includes Grammy award winning
percussionist, Jose Rossy (Weather Report, Talking Heads, Robert
Palmer, Labelle), Jay Johnson (Blackfoot, Rossington Collins
Band), Mike Estes (Lynyrd Skynyrd, Blackfoot) and Buzzy Gruen
(Point Blank, Chuck Rainey).
Ian will be in the studio
recording new tracks for Windsor in 2012. |
