BIO:
Born and raised south of
New Orleans and currently based in Santa Barbara, California, Ian’s
playing is a virtual “GUMBO” of influences. From an award winning
marching and classical school career to playing all styles of music
around the world with some of the industry’s greatest, he has proven
that one can have chops AND groove. “When you are born in the swamps
and are surrounded by so many musical elements and live and breath the
air and culture of south Louisiana and New Orleans, you can’t not
have that flavor and spice in EVERYTHING you do”, stated Ian in a recent
interview.
Ian is currently on tour
with The John Wilde Group from the UK (
www.johnwildegroup.com ) and recently recorded with the band on
their first CD with City Canyons Records. He has been busy with
Nigerian singer, URU (
www.urumusic.com ) and the band will appear in a major motion
picture starring Uru in conjunction with Sony. Ian has connected with
Tantrum Studios owned by Sjoerd Koppert (The Who, Pink Floyd, Radiohead,
Fleetwood Mac, Fear Factory) and the studio offering drum tracks for
anyone around the world with Ian and legendary drummer, Ansley Dunbar. (
www.tantrumrecords.com ). In 2004, Ian hit the Warped Tour with
Windsor and was also part of the Shockwave “Make A Video” contest
sponsored by The Warped Tour, MTV and Shockwave, along with The Vandals,
Cody, Taking Back Sunday and Sugarcult. 2003 through early 2005 found
Ian as drummer and musical director for Nikki Boyer (Emmy winning
actress/singer and host of the TLC’s hit show, “Perfect Proposal”).
Ian Falgout has toured the world and
recorded and/or played live with players and producers such as: The John
Wilde Group (British rockers from the UK), Darren Marc (formerly of
Modern Day Hero), Uru (west African singing sensation), David Paich
(Toto), Windsor (Warped Tour 2004), Nikki B. (actress/singer and host of
TLC's "Perfect Proposal"), Mudflaps (seen on "On Air With Ryan Seacrest"),

(producer of Billy Idol, Breakfast Club soundtrack), Nik Greene (Blue
Murder, Jimmy Page, The Firm), Jack Ryland (3 Dog Night), Joey Catchcart
(Nelson) and countless others in all genres of music. He provides
diverse yet dynamic playing…always with a high energy "vibe" and deep
pocket.

Percussion. Ian has been featured countless times in Modern Drummer and
DRUM magazines and can be found all over the internet. |
